— Jonathan Ochart, Texas CEO Magazine
Writing is my first love, and it holds a special place in my heart to this day. Whether I’m writing news articles, features, marketing content or picture books, there’s nothing as satisfying as bringing pen to paper and letting my imagination run wild. If you’re interested in working with me on a writing project, please send me a message.
As the founder and CEO of my own business, I contribute thought leadership pieces to trade publications with audiences who are interested in entrepreneurship, diversity, marketing and public relations. Additionally, throughout my college years, I served as writing director of Spark magazine, the only student-run lifestyle publication at the University of Texas at Austin. At Spark, I wrote pieces showcasing Austin’s burgeoning fashion scene while leading a team of student writers.
The Herald Post, winner of the 2009 Thomas Jefferson Award for best tabloid format newspaper in the Department of Defense, served the Heidelberg, Mannheim and Kaiserslautern military communities. With Heidelberg and Mannheim’s military base closings, the publication is no longer active.
I have the pleasure of writing creative content every single day while leading my business, The Postcard Agency. Whether I’m developing copy for a new product or building excitement for upcoming events, my team and I are proud to create award-winning content recognized by the MarCom Awards, Hermes Creative Awards and other award platforms. View our award-winning work.
I wrote and illustrated my first picture book at age 6 (All About My Pet), and to my surpise, I won my school’s Young Authors competition. Since then, I’ve written (and re-written) three picture books focused on the magic of travel and how exploring new places and cultures can help us better understand ourselves. Please reach out to me if you’re interested in reading one of my manuscripts.
